Burgers are a summertime favorite on the backyard grill, at family cookouts or at the campground. And they make a quick, satisfying meal for the whole family any season. By carefully choosing your ingredients, burgers can stay on your menu year round! Start by choosing a healthy protein source from the list of options below. Feeling spicy? Craving savory? Choose the burger that matches your mood and simply add in the Mix It! ingredients before forming your patties! Cook patties on the grill or in a skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Once your burger is cooked through, just slide it onto the bun (or bun alternative) and add on your favorite ingredients from the Top It! selections.

Choose your favourite from the recipes below to get started. 

 

TURKEY BURGER

Mix 4 oz lean ground turkey breast with an egg white for each burger patty. Add in seasoning, one scoop of Natural Nutralean and mix thoroughly. Form into a patty & grill until cooked through.

 

BEEF BURGER

Mix 4 oz lean ground beef with an egg white for each burger patty. Add in seasoning, one scoop of Natural Nutralean and mix thoroughly. Form into a patty & grill until cooked through.

 

SALMON BURGER

Thoroughly mash ½ can of canned salmon Add in 1 scoop of Natural Nutralean, a spoonful of Greek yogurt and 1 egg white for each patty. Season with your favorite spices and mix thoroughly. Form into a patty & grill until cooked through.

 

NEED MORE OPTIONS?

Use lean chicken breast or a fillet of fresh fish in place of the burger mixes for a delicious grilled sandwich with even less prep!

SPINACH CRANBERRY

MIX IT!
  • ¼ cup Spinach, chopped
  • 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 1 tsp Dried Cranberries
  • 1 tsp Pepper 
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced

TOMATO BASIL

MIX IT!

  • ¼ cup Fresh Spinach, chopped
  • 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 3 fresh Basil Leaves, Chopped
  • 4 tbs tomato, minced   
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 

TOP IT!

  • Lettuce 
  • Tomato Slices
  • No Sugar Added Ketchup

 

 

 

SOUTHWEST

MIX IT!

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • ½ tbs Onion, Diced
  • Pinch of Cayenne   
  • Pepper 

TOP IT!

  • Salsa
  • Avocado
  • Hot sauce
  • Tomato
  • Onions
  • Lettuce

 

 

CALIFORNIAN

MIX IT!

  • ½ tbs Shallots, Minced 
  • 1 Clove Garlic, Minced 
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper 

TOP IT!

  • Avocado
  • Alfalfa sprouts Red Onions
  • Tomato

 

  

MEDITERRANEAN

MIX IT!

  • 1 tbs Olives, Chopped
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tbs Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Oregano 

TOP IT!

  • Kalamata Olives, 
  • Tzatziki Sauce
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

 

 

HAWAIIAN

MIX IT!

  • ½ tbs Crushed Pineapple
  • ½ tbs Red Onion,Chopped 
  • ½ tsp Chopped Bacon

TOP IT!

  • Pineapple Slices
  • Onions
