Tantalizing Turkey Soup



Super Easy Tantalizing Turkey Soup


With the chilly weather upon us here in Prince Edward Island, home of Nutracelle, we wanted a hearty, filling, delicious turkey stew to warm us up. This stew is exploding with flavour and tastes just as good as when your mom made it. The difference? This one is packed with whey protein, which is the ideal protein for weight loss, and prebiotic fiber that’ll keep you full for hours. The whole family can enjoy this delicious, low-carb stew and they won’t even know it’s healthy - it’ll be our little secret.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 scoops of Natural Nutralean
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 head cauliflower chopped
  • 2 cups of peas 
  • 2 cups of chopped carrots
  • 2 cups of chopped turnip
  • 4 cups of chopped cooked turkey or chicken
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp tyme
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


DIRECTIONS:

  • In a large kettle saute the garlic and butter, add the onion and saute until clear.
  • Add the rest of your vegetables and continue to saute.
  • Add 3 scoops of Natural Nutralean and mix until vegetables are well coated.
  • Add spices.
  • Add 1/2 your broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add in Turkey and remaining broth, cover and simmer at med to low heat stirring occasionally for 30 - 45 minutes. 

Recipe makes 10 servings
