Loaded Protein Chili

This recipe is SO healthy and SO filling, you'll have leftovers for days! (Good news, it freezes perfectly!). Our Loaded Protein Chili is full of flavour, packed with protein and loaded with tons of veggies for an antioxidant boost. Mix in your favourite veggies, and enjoy this hearty bowl of yummy with the whole family.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.25 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Natural Nutralean
  • 1+1⁄2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 2/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 celery sticks, chopped
  • 1/2 cup string beans, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower
  • 1+1⁄2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1+1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1+1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1+1⁄2 teaspoons salt
  • 3⁄4 cup water (add more if needed) 


DIRECTIONS:


  1. Brown meat in medium-large pan. Once almost finished, drain fat and sprinkle 1⁄2 teaspoon salt over meat.
  2. Add onions and peppers to pan and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Combine cooked meat, onions, peppers, tomatoes, celery, water, and tomato paste in medium-large pot.
  4. Stir spices into pot. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low-medium and let simmer for 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so. 
  5. Add Nutralean, mix well and simmer on low for an additional 10 minutes and then serve.

    Recipe makes 12 servings
